Simply open the can, drain it and rinse a few times in cold water and you are good to go. Made of wheat gluten it is 100% Vegan and a perfect substitute for any type of meat in any dish.
We have found that for best results you need to empty the can into a strainer. Let the liquid drain off then rinse a few times in cold water. You can then pan fry it and season it well for duck tacos or shred it for duck enchiladas or our favorite way to prepare it is with stir fry. Add vegetables and stir fry with Vegan Hoisin Sauce. Yummo. You will be amazed at its texture and taste, but it needs to be rinsed well before use!
Product has a stable shelf live with an expiration date of at least 1 year from the time of purchase. If you haven’t tried it, this Mock Duck would be a perfect item to add to you pantry.
