GREAT VALUE FOR A FANTASTIC PRODUCT! Over 4 lbs of textured vegetable protein. If you have never tried TVP before this is a great product to start with. Sometimes you go to a good vegan restaurant and they bring out a dish and you think to yourself, “Why can’t I get quality textured vegetable protein like this?” Well, this is the product for you. This same product is sold to the top Vegan restaurants around the county and you will LOVE IT.

Each bag weights 12 oz. Chunks, pieces, slices and strips of textured vegetable protein that has the texture of chicken. Terrific flavor and texture will “Wow” your Vegan family and friends and your carnivore friends will have a double take.

FOR BEST RESULTS – Most of our textured vegetable protein Products we suggest soaking in hot water before use.  Our Söykin Jotss are best if soaked in hot water for 15 minutes and our Hunks boiled for 10 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water until cool. Once cool, you will want to carefully squeeze out all the water, be careful because you don’t want to break apart the chunks, but you need to get all the water out. Once dry you can marinate with a bit of soy sauce and sugar, which will give it an incredible umami flavor, they you can add it to any dish.

We find it works incredible with stir fry, chicken enchiladas and our favorite with stew. Has at least a 1 year shelf life and is NON-GMO, made with simple ingredients.
